Adult's biological meaning is a term used to describe an animal that is that is capable of reproduction. The term "adult" is often employed in relation to human beings in order to define the legal and social aspects. As opposed to a "non-adult" or "minor" legally adult is a person who has attained the age of majority, and therefore is considered to be independent, self-sufficient, and dependable. Sometimes referred to as "majors", they can also be considered to have reached the age of majority. It is generally accepted that the age at which a person can legally become an adult is 18. As we enter our early twenties, our physical abilities are at their maximum. These include muscle strength as well as reaction speed.
